Drama Studies
From scripts to staging, we help you perform, write and analyse with confidence
Drama is one of the best subjects for building confidence, independence and proper analytical brainpower.

A Level Drama Studies

Think like a performer
Write like a critic
Creative coaching for coursework devising and essays
A Level Drama Studies goes bigger: bigger texts, bigger ideas, real theatre-making
My online lessons help students explore Drama like practitioners:
be analytical, be daring, be confident, be productive
What I help with
- Devising & performance coursework
- Log-book writing & interpretation
- Practitioner theory made simple (Brecht doesn’t have to be difficult)
- Essay planning & exam technique
- Performance feedback via video or live online sessions
How it works
- Tailored online 1:1 or small group lessons
- Flexible for home-ed or school students
- Booklets, example essays, digital resources, mini-videos
- Support for AQA, Edexcel, OCR & WJEC
Why Curious is different
Most tutors focus only on the written exam. I teach both performance and theory and show students how the two feed each other. With my background as an RSC actor, writer, director and Head of Creative Arts, students learn to approach texts like real theatre-makers… and suddenly their essays stop sounding like they’re guessing.
